Maui Steel Guitar Festival in Wailea and Kahului

The Maui Steel Guitar Festival is presented free to the public by the Hawaii Institute for Music Enrichment and Learning Experiences (HIMELE) in association with the Ke Kula Mele Hawai‘i School of Hawaiian Music, The Shops at Wailea, Queen Ka‘humanu Center, and other donors and supporters. 2023 Maui Steel Guitar Festival

  • Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the Shops at Wailea. Ho‘olaule‘a performances 11 AM – 4 PM. Hands-on opportunities for festival guests to try out a steel guitar under the guidance of a steel guitar expert along with other festival elements such as a steel guitar exhibit, workshops, and kanikapila jam sessions.
  • Sunday, October 15, 2023 at the Queen Ka‘humanu Center in Kahului. Entertainment 11 AM – 4 PM.
