Here’s a list of restaurants and other eateries across the Hawaiian Islands that offer some sort of free food, beverage, or dessert on your birthday. Birthday deals are followed by a list of food deals for those celebrating a wedding anniversary.
They all work pretty much the same. You sign up at the links below and they send you a coupon or code on your birthday and anniversary. Sign up any other relevant family members, too.
Be sure to sign up well before your birthday or anniversary. While some sign-ups become active immediately, some can take up to 60 days before you can get the free deal. Besides your special day, when you sign up you also may receive other deals as a loyalty club member. So it’s a gift to yourself that keeps on giving all year long. How delicious!
Note that for franchises, some locations may not participate, but sign-up is free and un-signing up is easy.

Another way to get more free food is to “Like” the Facebook page of your favorite restaurants, which sometimes contains offers outside of their loyalty email club.

Buca di Beppo. Sign up to the eClub for the first time and get a free pasta. Fill out your special anniversary date for a special deal.
Dairy Queen. You’re special on your birthday and anniversary of signing at the Blizzard Fan Club. Get special coupons and promos by email.
IHOP. You won’t get a deal on your wedding anniversary. But you will get one on the anniversary of joining the Pancake Revolution.
Romano’s Macaroni Grill. Right now when you sign up for “The Dish,” Romano’s Macaroni Grill’s newsletter, you’ll get $5 off an entree. When you complete the sign-up form, be sure to include your wedding anniversary date; you’ll receive a coupon around the time of your anniversary for a free piece of chocolate cake.
Ruth Chris Steak House. If you decide to dine at Ruth Chris Steak House for your anniversary — and you’ve signed up for the restaurant’s email list in advance — you’ll get a free dessert to share at the end of your meal. Sweet!
