The Shaka Pledge

- NURTURE. Inspire, teach, grow…
- SERVE. People, community & planet…
- MAHALO. With gratitude, love & aloha…
About the Shaka License Plate Program
Project Shaka began as a documentary film entitled, “Shaka, A Story of Aloha,” which grew into a series of programs that seek to share aloha through the Shaka.
The Shaka License Plate Program was reviewed by all Counties and all Sheriff Offices in the State of Hawai’i. Shaka Plates are part of the State of Hawai’i Nonprofit Plates Program, ID8 (Project Shaka Program), a Honolulu nonprofit dedicated to fostering ideation and expression that result in positive impact.
Each year, a portion of every Shaka plate fee goes to ID8 and Project Shaka programs. More info: ID8 – A Hawai’i 501C3 Nonprofit
