Spectators of all ages are invited to an evening of storytelling as the Honolulu Department of Parks and Recreation hosts the 35th Annual Talk Story Festival on Friday the 13th featuring a frighteningly good array of storytellers, who offer a variety of tales with spooky and historical undertones. As Hawai‘i’s oldest and largest storytelling celebration, this festival aims to perpetuate the Native Hawaiian tradition of passing knowledge orally through storytelling.
