The Waikiki Holiday Parade was cancelled in 2020 and 2021. It will return in 2022 on Friday after Thanksgiving, November 25, 2022. Their website does not list a start time—most sites seem to report 7PM though one stated it was 6PM.
The Waikiki Holiday Parade is held annually the Friday following Thanksgiving Day (aka “black Friday”). The parade commemorates Pearl Harbor by honoring survivors and veterans in memory of the attacks from December 7, 1941. Local Hawaiian bands, marching bands from the mainland, military units, and local officials and dignitaries march about 1.5 miles down torch-lit Kalakaua Avenue along Waikiki Beach. The parade begins at Fort DeRussy Park and ends at Queen Kapiolani Park. Thousands of spectators, including residents and visitors line the parade route. More info: Waikiki Holiday Parade
