The Waikiki Holiday Parade is held annually the Friday following Thanksgiving Day (aka “Black Friday”). The event commemorates Pearl Harbor by honoring survivors and veterans in memory of the attacks from December 7, 1941. The parade begins at Fort DeRussy Park and travels approximately 1.5 miles along Kalakaua Avenue, ending at Queen Kapiʻolani Park. The parade includes local Hawaiian bands, marching bands from the mainland, military units, local officials, and other dignitaries. We couldnʻt find a start time, but the City of Honolulu has the road closed from 6:30-9:30. So we’re guessing the parade is roughly 7-9PM. More info: Waikiki Holiday Parade
