Walmart (Hawaiʻi, Kauaʻi, Maui, Oʻahu) is making Thanksgiving easy, convenient and, most of all, less expensive than last year. The featured items include easy options for a festive family meal, like ready-to-heat macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes and dinner rolls, along with premade stuffing mix, cranberry jelly, turkey gravy and thaw-and-serve pies with whipped topping. Whole Foods Market (Maui/Kahului, O’ahu/Honolulu, Kailua) offers complete take home holidays dinners serving 4-12 for $89.99-$5369.99. 2023 Restaurants open Thanksgiving Day across the Hawaiian Islands
Most restaurants in across Hawai’i offer a special Thanksgiving brunch or dinner. Every hotel in Waikīkī has something special to offer but can be quite expensive ($115-$125 per person and up). We’ve hunted down the more modest offerings.
We focus on a budget-friendly options across a wide variety of cuisines, including traditional Thanksgiving menus (most with typical Hawaiian flair) as well as a range of menus from American comfort foods to international cuisines.
Reservations fill up fast but calling a location directly can sometimes get you a table with a non-refundable credit card deposit. Eating early or later is another possibility for last minute reservations. More than a few allow walk-ins, especially casual eateries.
Basalt (Honolulu/Waikīkī) offers a $36 Roast Turkey Dinner Plate ala carte, plus a menu of starters and dessert.
Black Angus (Cattle Company Steakhouse) (Oʻahu/Pearl City) Open Thanksgiving Day with their regular menu.

Kuhio Avenue Food Hall | Waikīkī. Kuhio Ave Food Hall at the International Market Place has something for everyone in the family with offerings that include pizza, burgers, Greek, Mexican, and Italian foods. Most open 11am-9pm daily.
Liliha Cafe & Bakery (Oʻahu/multiple locations). Coffee shop serving regular menu until 3PM.
Lulu’s Restaurant (luluswaikiki.com) (Honolulu/Waikīkī) is offering a Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner with sides for $38/adult. A dessert menu and a limited menu of other items is also available, sich as Loco Moco, several Burgers, and NY Strip Steak.
M.A.C. 24/7 Thanksgiving Dinner (Honolulu/Waikīkī) inside Hilton Waikīkī Beach had a prix fixe 5-course menu for $60/adult.
Mitsuwa Marketplace | Japanese Grocery (Honolulu/Waikīkī) on the 2nd floor of the International Market Place has a variety of grab-and-go options including sushi, bento, and other deli items.
