Waimea Creamery (waimeacreamery.com). Small-batch producer of one-of-a-kind handmade frozen desserts for over 25 years. Best known for Tropical Dreams super premium ice cream (18% butterfat, little air). They also produce two lines of premium ice cream, real Italian-style gelato, sorbets, frozen yogurts, and sorbets. Chee Hoo (banan.co) From the founders of Banán. Chee Hoo pops are craft ice cream-like bars made from banana soft-serve. Buy them in all Foodlands across Oʻahu.

Sweet As Ice Cream (sweetasicecream.com). New Zealand Style real fruit ice cream handmade in Hawaii served in a handmade waffle cone. Two locations: Ala Moana and Laie.
Sweetland Farm | (sweetlandfarmhawaii.com). Sweet Land Farm raises goats and makes award-winning cheese, plus other products including gelato. Their farm store in central Oʻahu is open weekends only. It’s worth a trip. They also offer tours of their farm, which is very worthwhile. Fantastic place. Located in Waialua.
Thrills Soft Serve | Facebook. Locally owned soft serve ice cream shop that specializes in unique flavors. All of their ice cream and waffle cones are made in-house. Located in Kakaʻako.
UBAE (ubaehawaii.com). Dairy-free, plant-based ube soft serve along with other ube products (cakes, cheesecake, cookies, flan). Located in Honolulu. Also available on Oʻahu at Aloha Island Mart and across Hawaiʻi at 7-Eleven stores.
Via Gelato (viagelatohawaii.com). Local artisan gelato handmade daily. Online ordering of packed-to-order pints. Located in Kaimukī.
Wing Shave Ice & Ice Cream | Yelp. Homemade ice cream including dairy and non-dairy options made with coconut milk in classic and unusual flavors. Shave ice syrups are also homemade, with no artificial flavors or colors. Located in Chinatown.
