Vanishing Voices shares the story of the Hawaiian Honeycreeper. This beautiful endemic bird faces non-native mosquitoes transmitting avian diseases. The film showcases the efforts of multi-agency partnerships to address the threats to Hawai’i’s biodiversity. This 30-minute documentary empowers viewers with the importance of reconnecting with native forests and songbirds. A panel discussion will follow the screening to discuss the themes of the film.
