Tai Chi is a form of martial arts that is also a low impact exercise for Older Adults 50+. Medical clearance by a physician is recommended. Wear comfortable clothing and covered-toe shoes. Bring bottled water or water in reusable drinkware. Instructor Ron Ishimaru is certified by the Tai Chi for Health Institute. He teaches Sun style Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention, an evidenced-based exercise program endorsed by the CDC and the Hawaii Department of Health EMS and Injury Prevention System Branch.
