Every 4th Thursday morning, Ka Honua Momona Hui nurtures the 600 to 800 year old Loko ‘Ia (fishponds) from gardening to building walls and other maintenance tasks. More info: Mahuaola O Molokai | Go Hawaii. Volunteers must RSVP and fill out a waiver: KHM 2025 SmartWaiver

 

Ka Honua Momona volunteer requirements

  • Covered Shoes (mandatory to participate) 
  • Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
  • Reef-friendly sunscreen
  • Refillable water bottle
  • Hat and Gloves
