Join Kumu Naomi Nascimento of Oʻahu for FREE hands-on lauhala workshops! As a kumu, Naomi is committed to perpetuating the art of lauhala weaving. You’ll be guided step-by-step to create your own beautiful peʻahi (fan) or anthurium flower using a simple weaving pattern. You’ll also learn important terms and gain insight into the preparation of lauhala, a traditional material used in Hawaiian crafts.
