Every year on the first Friday in December, downtown Līhuʻe decks out for the holiday season with a holiday fair, festival of lights, and parade on Rice Street.

1ST FRIDAY OF DECEMBER
- 12-8PM: HOLIDAY FAIR in the KAUAI MUSEUM PARKING LOT
- 6-6:30PM: FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS at the HISTORIC COUNTY BUILDING
- 6:30PM – 8:00PM: LIGHTS ON RICE PARADE. Road closure from 6-830pm on Rice Street from Ho’olako to Eiwa Street. Recommended parking along Hardy Street, Convention Hall, and County Building.
