The Molokaʻi Holokai Hoʻolauleʻa (“seafarer celebration”) is a 2-day festival on the island of Molokaʻi. This is not the typical race. The focus is on our youth to inspire and motivate them and their families to be the best they can be. It’s a family fun weekend for all levels from the serious racer to the weekenders. The event is a combination of two ocean paddling events, the Maui to Molokaʻi Challenge (27 miles) that started in 2003 and the Molokaʻi Holokai (10 miles) that began in 2010. Open to the public; free to spectators. Registration by donation (cutoff is Thursday morning). Volunteers needed. More info: Molokai Holokai | Website
