- Sept 1, 2024 1:00pm: Concert. Kawaiahaʻo Church (957 Punchbowl St, Honolulu, HI 96813). In celebration of Queen Liliʻuokalani’s 186th birthday, kicking off the 2024 celebration is a concert honoring Queen Liliʻuokalani.
- Sept 11, 2024, 6:00pm: Climate & Health Panel discussion. “Ola ka ʻāina, Ola ke kanaka, Ola ka lāhui”. Panelists will share historic evidence of climate incidents, patterns, the impact on the health and wellness, and insight into how climate change can be mitigated today for enhanced well-being.
- Sep 13, 2024, 5:15pm: Holoholo Honolulu Tour of Historic Health Sites. A trolley ride through Kaka‘ako, Chinatown, and Kalihi-Pālama to imagine the landmarks as you hear the stories of historic health events and the people who responded to public health emergencies. - Sept 27-28, Oct 4-6: “Puana” World Premiere. UH Manoa Kennedy Theatre. Puana explores the deep connections that Kānaka Maoli have with their kūpuna (ancestors) through song. Family artifacts reveal stories encapsulated in poetic compositions from the past, which guide contemporary musicians in their artistic journeys. Adult admission $25. Discount Sept 28 only $15.
