Big Isle: 3rd Saturday Cardboard Shred Day in Captain Cook

Don’t send anymore cardboard to the landfill! Got cardboard? Bring it to be shredded. Need cardboard? Come and get some. When you put your cardboard in the recycling bins at the transfer stations none of it is recycled on island—it is trucked to the harbor and loaded on a ship that then burns bunker fuel all the way to Taiwan.
