Kapapa Loʻi ʻo Kealiʻikuaʻāina is a small Hawaiian family farm in Waipiʻo Valley in the ʻili of Kūnaka. Hoʻolaulima Workdays are held on one Saturday per month on the farm. These hands-on, culture-based, highly educational experiences immerse volunteer groups of no more than 25 people in six-hour Hawaiian language, culture and mālama ʻāina events at the ancient five-acre taro patch complex. Hoʻolaulima literally means to cause cooperation. Volunteers directly contribute to the regeneration of Waipiʻo’s unique wetland environment and revitalize this once highly productive area. Lunch and extra water to refill your water bottle is provided. More info: Kapapa Loʻi o Kealiʻikuaʻāina | kuakanaka and Kū-A-Kanaka LLC (@kuakanaka) • Instagram
