Miss Mokihana Hula Kahiko & Hōʻike features soloists from participating hālau hula (hula schools) presenting choice mele hula (hula chants or songs) connecting to their birth island. Prizes will be awarded for Oli (chants), Costume & Adornments, Hula Presentation, and Overall. More info: Kauaʻi Mokihana Festival | Mālie Foundation (maliefoundation.org)
