Learn about the Nisei soldiers of World War II through an interesting and informative six-panel exhibit which provides a brief history of the various military units, as well as information about veterans who went on to become prominent leaders in Hawaii. The exhibit “The Nisei Soldiers of World War II: Their Post-War Contributions to Hawaii and the Nation” was created by the Nisei Veterans Legacy organization and may be viewed in January 2025 during the library’s business hours: Monday-Tuesday 12-7PM, Wednesday-Thursday 9AM-4PM, Friday 11AM-4PM, Saturday 9AM-4PM.
