Na ‘Āina Kai Botanical Gardens is 240 acres of diverse gardens that is open to the public for tours and events. The Foundation’s mission supports and promotes tropical horticulture, agriculture, forestry, and maintaining the gardens for Kauai’s residents and visitors. Volunteer opportunities are available for individuals who live full- or part-time on Kaua‘i. Free volunteer training consists of six (6) mandatory sessions and two (2) optional classes. Following this training, volunteers take their place as a regular tour guide. Na ‘Āina Kai asks for a commitment of 6 hours per month.
