The annual Paniolo Parade features a traditional Royal Court, majestic pa’u riders, marching units, floral floats, dignitaries, and more. The parade will begin at 10:00 AM and conclude at the Kalani Schutte Waimea District Park for the Hoʻolauleʻa from 11:30AM – 4:00 PM. The all-day festival features Hawaiian entertainment, food, food trucks, drinks, crafts, arts, paniolo fair games, equestrian performances, and more. 2024 Paniolo Parade & Hoʻolauleʻa in Waimea
September 21, 2024. The 2024 theme “Na Paniolo Ho’ohanohano – Grand are the cowboys!” is the original theme from the 1952 parade. The parade will honor Na Hulu Kupuna (Waimea’s Living Treasures), feature the “Paniolo Memorial Ride”, highlighting past paniolo of the community. The parade has a new route, starting at Waimea Park, heading into town, turning right onto Pukalani St., then right onto Alaohia St., and conclude at the Kalani Schutte Waimea District Park for the Hoʻolauleʻa,
