The nonprofit Hawaii Historic Arms Association (HHAA) was created in 1977 to educate the general public in the cultural and historical value of collecting arms and related items, including militaria, historical arms, edged weapons, and related items. Through forums and exhibitions throughout the year, the public and serious collectors can meet and exchange information and ideas. Spring and Fall exhibitions are held annually in Honolulu. Proceeds from these shows are used to further the organization’s efforts at public education, training, advocacy, and philanthropy. Activities at the show include buying, selling, browsing, and exhibits of firearms, knives, and collectibles.
