Experience the heart of Hawaiian culture and its herbal medicine tradition at a special event on Saturday, July 30 at the Lawai International Center in Lawai. This extremely popular workshop will be led by Sean Chun, a renowned Hawaiian cultural practitioner. Chun will discuss Hawaiian healing methodology and philosophy, including the use of la’au and ho’oponopono. La’au is healing with spirituality and herbs that addresses the body, mind, and spirit. Ho’oponopono is a Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness. There is a $50 minimum donation via PayPal. These special events typically sell out; advance registration suggested. “We will talk about an overview of traditional Hawaiian healing, history, and about various arts that are practiced,” said Chun. “A lot that is out there today isn’t really traditional. I will try to bring more awareness.”
