The annual World Whale Film Festival (WWFF) presented by Pacific Whale Foundation is held on World Ocean Day (June 8) with funding provided by Hawai’i Tourism Authority. WWFF invokes the power of storytelling to promote environmental conservation and raise awareness of major threats impacting nature and mankind. In the face of emerging threats, the organization employs research, education, and conservation methods as it races against time to restore and sustain the delicate balance between mankind and marine life.
