Waimea Town Celebration is Kauaʻi’s largest and oldest festival held in the plantation town of another era. The 9-day of cultural festival feature recreational events across the West Side of Kauaʻi. The event raises money for community projects such as the Historic Waimea Theater, restoration of the Hawaiian Fort at Pāʻulaʻula, and other non-profit organizations and community groups such as local schools, hula hālau, canoe clubs, and sports teams. For many, this is their largest fundraiser for the year. It’s the perfect event to immerse yourself in Hawaiian culture while keeping your dollars in the community.
