Terra Forme imagines the earth as a vast, diverse, and dynamic living entity. Adapted from the science fiction term “terraforming,” the exhibition title describes the long-term transformation of an alien environment to one that can support human life. The exhibition showcases the work of eight artists who originate from Hawai’i, Iceland, and Rwanda, who interpret Earth’s dynamism through the lenses of geomorphology and indigenous interpretations of natural phenomena. Guest Curator Koan Jeff Baysa. Opening reception 6PM on Friday August 5th. “Terra Forme” is on view until September 30, 2022. Gallery hours: Tuesday-Friday 10am – 4pm, Saturdays 10am – 2pm.
