Inspired by the slapstick comedy of early 20th century American films, the surprise hit “Hundred of Beavers” released in 2022 is a black-and-white, low-budget film that follows Jean, an applejack distiller. The zany plot includes beavers (played by actors in oversized costumes) who accidentally burn down his distillery. Subsequently, Jean tries to earn a living as a fur trapper, each scene more hilarious than the next. More info: Hundreds of Beavers | Honolulu Museum of Art
