$20 per person is not that cheap
Carole Cancler says
Cheap is a very subjective term and we try to provide a range of ideas and prices. We do our best to look for the most affordable events. It’s been difficult since the pandemic, but we’re starting to see more events, so more of them will be “affordable”.
For events with an admission fee, we focus on “cheap” things to do with a kamaʻāina adult ticket price of $15 or less (i.e. regular price of a movie ticket) or a regular/general admission price of $25 or less. We publish some events that exceed this limit, for example if they are interesting (like Halloween). More info about our policies here: https://hawaiionthecheap.com/about-us/
$20 is the regular HoMA admission price. Members get in for $10. Children 18 and under are free. So, an entire family could go for $20. Plus, we provide a link to a list of ways to enjoy HoMA on a budget.
