Catch the Celtic Pipes & Drums of Hawaii celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day with their bagpipe band and drummers at The Royal Grove at Royal Hawaiian Center. The Celtic Pipes and Drums of Hawaii, led by Pipe Major Dan Quinn and Drum Major Joe Miller, represents HPD and HFD, City & County of Honolulu and the State of Hawaii. In 2020 the Band celebrated its 35th anniversary. The Band wears the “Black Watch Tartan”, which is the dress of the 42nd Royal Highland Regiment. Since 2000, members have performed in Taiwan, Tonga to celebrate the King’s 85th birthday and in Edinburgh, Scotland. In 2013 the band was honored to play at the funeral of Senator Daniel Inouye which was attended by President Obama. The Band performs at over 60 events annually and offers instruction.
