Late Night Theatre is a student-run organization hosted by University of Hawaiʻi at Manoa (UHM) Department of Theatre + Dance whose mission is to present experimental and quirky work not often seen in Honolulu. Budgets and technical elements are kept minimal, in order to focus on students’ acting and directing skills. Shows are traditionally presented in the Kennedy Theatre’s 150-seat “black-box” Earle Ernst Lab Theatre at a student-friendly late-night hour. Tickets for in-person Late Night productions are sold at the Kennedy Theatre Box Office window starting 1 hour before showtime.
