The Honokaʻa Jazz Band is a group of advanced music students from Honokaʻa High School who uphold a long tradition of excellence in Hawaii’s music industry and the community. Under the direction of Gary Washburn, a dedicated educator and accomplished jazz artist, the band is considered to be one of the top high school bands in the country. The band is attributed with 19 albums. Music Garden, their latest album, is scheduled to be released May 2022. Performing live from Kahilu Theatre on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at 4pm HST, see them in-person ($20) or online ($10) from the comfort of your living room.
