Take a step back in time, to the days of the Paniolo (Hawaiian cowboy). At the Paniolo Heritage Center you will find the history of the paniolo brought to life and illustrated through a collection of artifacts, images, and original Hawaiian saddles. Explore the stories of the paniolo, see the saddles they used, and learn why the paniolo is such an important part of Hawaiʻi ranching history. The Center offers a wide variety of ranch-themed gifts, from hand-made and hand-stitched leather treasures to housewares and hoodies. Paniolo Heritage Center is also home to the Nā Wahine Holo Lio Paʻu Museum, honoring the history of the region’s pa‘u riders. FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!
