The National Park Service annual Hawaiian Cultural Festival at Puʻukoholā Heiau National Historic Site will celebrate its 52nd anniversary Establishment Day, “Hoʻokuikahi” on August 17-18, 2024. This celebration this year will be held at the park Visitor Center (62-3601 Kawaihae Road, Kawaihae) as well as at the adjacent Hawaiʻi County’s Spencer Beach Park (62-3461 Kawaihae Rd). The festivities include Cultural/Craft Demonstration, Festival, Hike, Living History, Performance. Free to the public.
