Surf Day is an annual FREE community outreach event that enables people with disabilities to access the beach and surf safely. It’s made possible by amazing professional volunteers from the community, including watermen and women from Hawaii County Ocean Safety, Professional Surf Instructors, the Hawaii County Fire Department, Volunteers from the Department of Education, Small Business Community Leaders and various non-profits. A fully immersive experience for the entire family, offering both ocean and land activities.
