Hollywood Classics is an ongoing series showcasing timeless films back on the big screen, presented by AARP. The 1969 adventure film Easy Rider, directed by Dennis Hopper and starring Peter Fonda, Dennis Hopper, Jack Nicholson. The film follows two Harley-riding hippies who complete a drug deal in Southern California and decide to travel cross-country in search of spiritual truth. On their journey, they experience bigotry and hatred from the inhabitants of small-town America, and meet with other travelers seeking alternative lifestyles.
